The subject of my work is shaped by places and object that hold memory and meaning. I paint from still life, photographs, and my imagination, often inspired by treasures and images collected along the trails, beaches, roads and fields of my travels.

Color guides nearly every decision I make. I'm drawn to bold palettes- punches of neon, wild blues, hot pinks. I'm an 80s kid at heart!

Making art allows me to preserve the people, places and moments that matter most to me.  Teaching art is an extension of that practice.  I'm passionate about supporting others as they expand their creative gifts and about offering space where artists- especially emerging ones- can create, grow and explore with encouragement and support.
